You have probably heard about eduroam’s wifi network. This initiative, which is active in Universitat Autònoma, is the option avaliable for university’s community. It guarantees a connection to the network across every education center where it is available, which allows us to get connected through computers and mobile devices and provides many benefits over other public networks on connectivity and safety levels.
To configure the eduroam network connection, it is recommended to use the automatic settings. Once you get connected to it, it will still work on all adhered you will not have to log in again, and that session will be valid for every institution adherent to this service. So, once you have configured it from the UAB campus, you will be able to visit other universities and the wifi network will continue to work without having to do the whole process again.

For its correct setting, it is very important to enter niu@uab.cat in the username field and your password associated with your user.
Remember!
- Update your password when you change it so that the connection works again.
- Renew your certificates. If the certificates installed on your device during a previous setup have expired, you will need to uninstall the getEduroam app and reinstall it by following the instructions in the guide corresponding to your device: https://si-respostes.uab.cat/inici/connexio-a-la-xarxa/cx-wireless/cx-eduroam.
